WHO WE ARE
I’ve been active for as long as I can remember and I love to push my edge.
My yoga journey actually started at the gym.
I was a weight lifter and fitness competitor and wanted to increase my flexibility so I tried my first yoga class and was blown away by how challenging it was and how hot and sweaty I got. I couldn’t hold a pose and I couldn’t control my breath. I was totally hooked!
After a few classes at the gym I found a studio to practice and loved it so much I did my first teacher training that same year. Nothing fueled me this way. One thing lead to another and next thing I new I was teaching and sharing my love of yoga all over Dallas.
I landed at exhale Dallas and did Core Fusion Barre training in 2008. Shortly thereafter I had the opportunity to change my life and move to Atlanta with exhale as mindbody manager and never looked back. I’ve lived in Atlanta since 2010 with my girlfriend Tiffany and our two dogs, Sirius Black and Rugby! I love to workout, cook, travel and I have three grown daughters.
Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don’t matter and those who matter don’t mind!
I am from Fort Worth, TX. I have always been active and love moving my body. I began practicing yoga in 2005. I was a runner for years. I was training for a half marathon. I was injured so I took Julie Boyd’s yoga class at exhale Dallas. I was hooked immediately! It was not long till I completely gave up running and was practicing yoga 100% of the time.
In 2008 I tried a few core fusion classes in Dallas. I immediately saw changes in my body and realized how it was helping my yoga practice. Now I crave barre classes. The strength work in core fusion barre and yoga is unlike anything else. Try it!
I moved to Atlanta in 2010. I began teaching core fusion barre and yoga in 2013. I am fortunate I can share what I love!
When I am not at exhale, I am working at DPR Construction (my full time job) or outside hiking with my girlfriend, Brianna and our two dogs, Rugby & Sirius Black. I love to travel and enjoy photography.
If you get a chance, take it. If it changes you, let it.
